20TH BURY SEEDFIELD METHODIST BROWNIES
At Easter, it is with regret, that we are saying goodbye to our Brownie Guider Jane Horan. This means that to continue as a unit we will need more help.
We are looking for volunteers to come on board as unit helpers, ie just to help supervise the girls with games and their craft. We are looking for at least one other person who feels that they could give of their time to train as a Brownie Guider.
Please pray about this as it would be a shame if we were to close after 75 + years due to lack of support. If you are interested then please contact me.
Many thanks, Sue Thorpe.
CHRISTIANS AGAINST POVERTY (CAP)
CAP is making a significant difference to people’s lives in helping them move out of debt. Their service of providing financial advice alongside a befriending scheme is very powerful. There are a few copies of their newsletter by the whiteboard in the church for your information. There are also leaflets describing CAP’s services for anyone who may benefit from their help.

As part of Ramsbottom Churches Together, we are running a course of Christianity Explored. This is for anyone who is interested in finding out more about the Christian faith and for anyone who is interested in church membership.
The course will run in two venues weekly: at the Community Church on Monday evenings, and at Holcombe Brook Methodist Church, starting on Wednesday afternoons. The same programme of material is being used at both venues. While it has been proposed that these start on the week of Monday 20th January, the start may be delayed. Should we have sufficient interest form people at Seedfield, we will be happy to run the course at Seedfield Methodist Church.
Please contact Rev. David on 0161 718 8578 or on David.firstname.lastname@example.org if you wish to attend.
