The toddler groups are in need of help, especially in the kitchen. This entails supplying the mums/toddlers with toast and a drink. It will take roughly 1 hour on Monday and Wednesday morning
10-11am. The Wednesday morning one is the more urgent as we are about to lose Brian & Audrey as they prepare to move away. If you feel you can help out then please see Sherryl Harrison who can answer any questions you may have.
BOOKING THE BUILDING
Please remember that all events taking place in the church building must be checked and booked in advance with Sherryl Harrison. This applies equally to church and non - church organisations/groups.
For information the church hall is currently booked at weekends at the following times:
Saturdays 10.30am to 12.30pm. FOR THE IMMEDIATE FUTURE
Sundays 1.30pm to 4.30pm. FOR THE IMMEDIATE FUTURE
Also note that for the months April to August inclusive the hall will not be used by table tennis and is therefore available for use.
MINISTER FROM SEPTEMBER 2019
We have been given a match with David Somerville as our Minister ( and Holcombe Brook’s) from next September 2019. David is currently a Minister in the Crosby Circuit and very much looking forward to joining us. He and his wife Alison will be living in the Seedfield manse on the Drive. - Praise God for answered prayer.
During the Easter services you should have received an Easter Offering envelope. This is a separate offering from our weekly giving in aid of world mission.
Please give your donation via the collection bags either today or next week.
CHRISTIAN AID WEEK
Begins Sunday 12th May when donation envelopes will be available. We are invited to attend the luncheon platter on that day after our morning service at St John’s Church hall on Parkinson street. More details nearer the time.
BURY CAP DEBT CENTRE LAUNCH EVENING
You are invited to the above on Sunday 12th May 6.00pm at Bury United Reform Church, Parsons Lane Bury. It will be an evening of worship, praise and thanks and a special guest speaker from CAP, Beth Prescot (CAP campaign manager).
The debt centre will cover the Bury Metro area. Seedfield is one of the Churches in the area that supports this project.
