Throughout these last 2 months of hospitalisation, rehabilitation and now hopefully the final stages of regaining some independence again back at home, I have been very aware of God’s hand in it all. At times He has been a bit of a pain!, at others a real blessing and comfort. Much of this support has come through the friends I have at both Seedfield and Heaton Park who have been praying for the various situations and sending their best wishes. I just want to say a big “Thank You” to you all. What a privilege and blessing to be part of God’s family. God bless. Ken Jones.

The Methodist Conference has invited districts to discuss the conference report, God in love unites us, which addresses human relationships and includes sections on singleness, cohabiting and same-sex marriage. The Bolton and Rochdale District are proposing to provide four opportunities for members of churches within the district to discuss the report. These sessions will be led by facilitators. The district is looking for volunteers for the facilitator role for these important conversations. Training will be provided by the Learning Network and will take place on Thursday 7 November. If you are interested in volunteering to be a facilitator, please contact the minister.
