A PRAYER FOR THE FELLOWSHIP
Please include in your prayers throughout the coming month, as you feel led, in support of the Fruitfulness on the Frontline studies we as a Church are following: that we may be inspired and encouraged by the series and stirred by the Holy Spirit to a unity in Christ’s body here at Seedfield, of which we are all a vital part that ‘if anything is excellent or praiseworthy – think about such things’ to encourage each other, to make Jesus’ name known and to bring Glory to God. Amen, Amen.
SOMETHIND DIFFERENT TO PONDER
Every year we in the UK throw away over 552 million shampoo bottles!! Why not do our bit for the earth and use instead shampoo bars. Each bar last for 80+ washes and completely eliminates the use of plastic. Things need to change so let’s make a contribution. Maybe consider using soap instead of bottled shower gel.
Please ensure that ALL room bookings are made via Sherryl Harrison and confirmed if it is an event taking place.
All baptisms, weddings and funerals to be booked FIRST with Rev Sharon Read who will make the necessary arrangements.
Please ask the relevant person before borrowing and removing any equipment from the building.
After all meetings, events and services, please ensure everything is tidied away and clean. All room users should have recently received a similar letter regarding the care of the building.
After 9 years I will be finishing doing Brownies at the end of July. We have a full unit with 25 girls but currently only 1 other leader, which means that if no one else steps in the unit will have to close. This would be a huge shame, especially as I've just realised this year is the unit's 75th anniversary! If you, or someone you know, would be able to help or just want more info, please contact me. You'd be more than welcome to come along, see what we do and learn the ropes before the summer. Thanks in advance! Helen
Ladies, the next Woman2Woman Evening will be on Friday 15th June at Heaton Park Church in the downstairs community rooms. Our speaker will be Eleanor Hall who makes a very welcome return to us. Her husband Dave was Minister of Heaton Park, Prestwich and Zion and during this time she set up the first Woman2Woman evenings and the annual Ladies Retreat.
Doors will open at 7pm for 7.30pm with a light buffet. Hope to see you. Tania Gresty

OPEN THE BOOK
The Bible Society has a programme to enable local Churches to get together to present bible stories to children in School assemblies. This is done through a narrated story, acted out by a small group. Bury churches together has agreed to try and get a group together to start this initiative here. I will be holding a meeting in the Ashton room, of Church house, at Bury Parish church, on Tuesday 26th June at 7.30pm for anyone interested in finding out more. The group will go into primary Schools to lead assemblies, so volunteers will need to be available in the day time, but we will also need costume makers and prop makers. The aim will be to get into as many local Schools as possible.
