Please hold the Bury Circuit in your prayers as we begin conversations about submitting a profile for Presbyterial Minister to join the circuit team in September 2019 and for our minister Sharon as she begins her preparations for submitting her profile. Some members of the Leadership Team are meeting shortly to think through our part of the profile. Stationing Matching takes place early November 2018.
Please ensure that ALL room bookings are made via Sherryl Harrison and confirmed if it is an event taking place.
All baptisms, weddings and funerals to be booked FIRST with Rev Sharon Read who will make the necessary arrangements.
Please ask the relevant person before borrowing and removing any equipment from the building.
After all meetings, events and services, please ensure everything is tidied away and clean. All room users should have recently received a similar letter regarding the care of the building.
BIBLE READERS : from September 2018 to August 2019
The current rota finishes Sunday 26th August, so I will soon be compiling a new rota for Bible reading in services from 2nd September this year to end of August 2019.
If any church member (no age limits) would like to read a Bible passage occasionally in one or both of the Sunday services that we hold, please contact me by the 19th August.
If you would like discuss further or try a dry run, I am very happy to give some help towards effective, confident reading.
