COVERING THE FELLOWSHIP
Please include in your prayers throughout the coming month as you feel led the following prayer or the gist of it.
“Dear Father, as I picture and bring before you (mention by name a member of the fellowship) I pray that Your Holy Spirit will work in them so that if their heart has become calloused and they hardly hear and their eyes are closed to your word as given in the Sunday Service that they might not merely listen to the word, but do what it says and be wise builders so that they may be made more whole.” Amen.
For more information see the notice board in church.
BOAZ PROJECT & PORCH PROJECT
Please remember these two important projects which assist the very needy in our town. When doing the weekly shopping just 1 extra item purchased for either/both means the fulfilling of Matthew’s Gospel ch.25:35-40. Remember that this is 24/7 52 weeks a year need not just the Christmas festival
BOOKING OF ROOMS FOR CHURCH ACTIVITIES
Please be aware that all bookings for using any part of the church building, whether church related or external, must be checked and booked through Sherryl Harrison. There are specific forms to complete which are on the wall outside of the Limefield room. Currently the hall or side rooms are not available throughout the year on Monday mornings and evenings, Tuesday afternoons, Wednesday mornings and evenings, all day Thursdays, Friday afternoons and evenings.
The next visits will be next Wednesday the 21st and Thursday the 22nd.
Wednesday 2.00pm at Burrswood House and 3pm at Limefield Court
Thursday 10.30am at Brookdale Bungalows then across to the house at Brookdale.
We appreciate that the residents cannot get out to church so a group of us go to them and lead a small, informal church service which comprises singing hymns and choruses, a reading and a short talk. Please feel free to join us at one or all services. We meet 10 minutes before in reception.
Please ensure that ALL room bookings are made via Sherryl Harrison and confirmed if it is an event taking place.
All baptisms, weddings and funerals to be booked FIRST with Rev Sharon Read who will make the necessary arrangements.
Please ask the relevant person before borrowing and removing any equipment from the building.
After all meetings, events and services, please ensure everything is tidied away and clean. All room users should have recently received a similar letter regarding the care of the building.
