Sample Prayer: “Come, Lord Jesus, pour out Your Spirit on ............................ today” (SoF 742) that they may come to live in the Spirit and show the Fruit of the Spirit as they model godly character, make good work and minister grace and love on their frontlines both in the world and in the fellowship at Seedfield. Amen.

A MESSAGE FROM WORLD WILDLIFE FUND (WWF) ABOUT WATER
(from a meeting at Martin Mere with WWF attended by Janet McKernan and Tim)
There has been an 81% reduction in average freshwater wildlife populations from 1970 to 2010, various species being driven towards extinction, with human implications for the future. What can we do?
1) Use less water, and more efficiently; 2) eat less processed food (that uses a lot of water) and waste less food (a third of food produced is thrown away); and 3) use your public voice in petitions and conversations with your local MP.
Please ensure that ALL room bookings are made via Sherryl Harrison and confirmed if it is an event taking place.
All baptisms, weddings and funerals to be booked FIRST with Rev Sharon Read who will make the necessary arrangements.
Please ask the relevant person before borrowing and removing any equipment from the building.
After all meetings, events and services, please ensure everything is tidied away and clean. All room users should have recently received a similar letter regarding the care of the building.
THERE WILL BE NO UPDATES TO THIS WEBSITE UNTIL 4TH JUNE
Jennie’s funeral will take place this Tuesday, May 22nd at 10.30am East Lancs crematorium followed by a thanksgiving service here at Seedfield at 11.30am. Refreshments will be available after the service.
A JOURNEY TO HOPE : CONCERT BY THE UNITED CHRISTIAN SINGERS : SATURDAY 26th MAY
You are invited by Bible Society Bury & Radcliffe Action Group to enjoy this musical inspired by spirituals, 7.30 pm at Bolton Road Methodist Church. Donations to Bible Society.
After 9 years I will be finishing doing Brownies at the end of July. We have a full unit with 25 girls but currently only 1 other leader, which means that if no one else steps in the unit will have to close. This would be a huge shame, especially as I've just realised this year is the unit's 75th anniversary! If you, or someone you know, would be able to help or just want more info, please contact me. You'd be more than welcome to come along, see what we do and learn the ropes before the summer. Thanks in advance! Helen
